Forest’s Edge - Ashurst

This self contained guesthouse is perfect for escapes to the New Forest. Situated in the New Forest National Park 'Forest’s Edge' is great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Our guesthouse is very comfortable with a sofa, arm chair, king size bed, bunk bed & trundle in one room. Seperate kitchen & separate shower room with toilet & basin. The garden is huge with lots of seating. We welcome dogs & we are close to Peppa Pig (Paultons Park) and the beach. Cats or dangerous dogs not allowed. The space This holiday cottage is perfect for families. There is a king size bed for parents and a bunk bed and trundle bed for children (which can also take adults). All beds have high quality cotton linen and down duvets and pillows. You can relax on the (brand new as of Nov 24) four seater sofa and separate arm chair and watch the 43 inch flat screen TV which has Sky Q, Freeview, Netflix and Amazon TV. The separate kitchen is kitted out with an oven, which has ceramic hot plates under glass. There is a microwave, slow cooker, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer and utensils. We provide pots and pans etc. We also provide tea, coffee, sugar and milk (1 pint). The shower room has a shower, toilet and basin. Towels, shampoo and shower gel are provided. We have an ironing board, iron and clothes horse. If you require washing or drying of clothes we will do that for in our house and will deliver your items back to you as soon as we can. We accept dogs that are well behaved and ask that they don’t go on the furniture (3 dogs in total). Forest's Edge has it's own private entrance and is situated behind the guesthouse garden gate, which your car will be parked behind. The garden is for your use only and separate to the main house garden (our garden). The garden is very large and big enough for a game of bat and ball, football or any other sport you wish to play. If you have a dog it is fully enclosed so that they won’t wonder off. The trees and shrubs are mature and are beautiful in the Summer and Autumn. All year round there are ponies in the field one side of us and sheep in the field the other. You can occasionally spot the family of deer or a few stray foxes. We love our little part of the New Forest National Park and welcome you to stay anytime. We both work full time and so to enable us to clean the place we ask that the check out on weekdays is 0930 and 10 am at weekends (the site says 0900 but it doesn't allow us to change it to half hour checkouts). We have a separate room across the courtyard from the guesthouse that can be for two extra guests (for 7 people in total, not including infants). This is available to book via a separate listing. It's called 'Forest's Edge Guesthouse & Garden room'. This listing takes 5 people, not including infants. Guest access Two car spaces are available for guests and there is a side entrance where guests can come and go as they please. Free parking. It’s a self check in to the Annex via a key box. If you wish to check in earlier we maybe able to facilitate that. Other things to note There is Wi-fi and the code is available online on our Airbnb page once you book. It's also in the information folder in the guesthouse. If you’re planning on a cycling holiday we have a building you can lock your bikes away in (next to the guesthouse). we have cycle maps in the property. Please request the code to access the store room to lock away your bikes. Dogs are charged at £10 each. Please make sure you add them to your booking. The fence between our two gardens is 1.2m (chest height for humans) in height. The fencing around the property is totally secure for dogs and they can roam without being watched. The fence around the garden is mainly 6ft panel fencing apart for the horse fence that is chest height.
