Claire’s Cabin and Sauna

Opposite the world famous Sissinghurst Castle, Claire’s Cabin is a unique and cosy country stay - the perfect off-grid escape for a romantic retreat to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. Set amongst beautiful countryside views, this private hand-built retreat on a working farm combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Spend your evenings soaking in the outside bath after a private sauna (extra charge) , cooking on the BBQ, or sitting by the fire pit under the stars. The space The cabin is tucked away with lovely countryside views, offering a cosy and restorative escape. It is full of rustic character, blended beautifully with modern comforts. Hand built from wood milled from the farm, it is one of a kind. The comfy king size bed promises a perfect night sleep with the little sofa and large TV for relaxing entertainment. The well- equipped kitchen, complete with a coffee machine is perfect for slow mornings with steaming coffee on the deck. Please note there is a double induction hob, no cooker. The private sauna is your own little sanctuary- perfect for completely unwinding. The decking, softly lit at night creates a cosy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for dinning under the stars. Fire up the BBQ (wood is supplied, locally made charcoal available on request at extra cost) for a leisurely meal and enjoy the warmth and flickering light of the fire pit. Guest access Guests can enjoy the lawn around the cabin and fire pit area. The private sauna can be used during their stay at extra charge of £25 a session. There are an extensive network of footpaths just over the road in Sissinghurst castle woods. The village pub The Milk House is in walking distance - approx 10 minutes. Other things to note Within walking distance of Sissinghurst castle gardens as well as our lovely local pub- The Milk House. Well known for its high quality menu and particularly delicious fire grilled pizzas it is definitely worth a visit. This a working farm, cherries, sheep and timber so please keep to the paths. The lovely seaside town of Rye is 30 minutes drive away.
