Backed by our family home, a renovated but totally independent farmhouse, this cozy and comfortable apartment is the perfect place to explore the green surroundings on foot or by bike, discover pretty medieval cities such as Chimay, Beaumont and Thuin, entertain yourself and enjoy the joys of the water at Val Joly and the Eau d 'Heure dams (Golden Lakes), observe the wonderful birds and other small inhabitants of Lake Virelles (Aquascope) or find rest on your private terrace and garden. The ultimate for a family getaway, for two, with friends, or if you're looking for a place to unleash your creativity. The apartment has a separate entrance allowing you to come and go in complete freedom, a garden (gated and secure) and a private terrace with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. This cottage has garden furniture, a secluded bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with toilet and shower/small bathtub (hoof), a living room with well-equipped kitchen and seating area with a sofa bed that can accommodate two additional people (with mattress topper for the night), TV (national and international channels) and DVD player. Finally, wifi, board games, books and DVDs are available. Parking for 1 vehicle as well as a covered and secure bike location (with key) sleeping up to 4 bikes. Bike repair kit available. All charges included (bed linen and bath towels not provided). We also provide you with a range of informative brochures on the tourist attractions of the region as well as maps of walks and hikes to do around the cottage. The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, a multifunction oven and a ceramic hob. We provide you with dishes, cutlery and pots, a coffee machine (filter), a kettle, a juicer, a croque monsieur and a toaster, a laundry rack as well as the necessary to do the dishes and any cleaning (vacuum cleaner in particular) during the stay. Don't feel like cooking? No problem: we have great restaurants nearby (we will be happy to advise you). Supermarket and Night & Day 2km from the cottage. NEW: Private charging point for electric vehicles directly in the parking lot (use on request and for a fee), rare in the area. The apartment is on the first floor, it is difficult to access to people with reduced mobility. No pets and no smoking in the apartment. In case of non-compliance with the house rules, €100 will be requested.
