Description
Start your day with a delicious coffee on the balcony overlooking the Pagasitic Gulf and the morning life on the central cobblestone street that connects the central square of the village with the legendary station of Mileai. If you are a hiking enthusiast, you can choose from a variety of trails with the most famous ones being those of Vizitsa, Tsagarada and to Kala Nera. Relax with the sounds of the waterfalls, the streams and the chirping of Alkyoni and Pseftaedoni. The space The mansion is a three-story stone building dating from the beginning of the previous century. In 1943, it was completely destroyed by fire, as was the entire village by the Germans. Since then, it has been inhabited and operated normally, mainly on the ground floor (the current Iro apartment), where the village bakery operated with a traditional wood-fired oven, until 1982 when it burned down again. This time, the owner briefly left the sour cherry that was boiling on the fire to watch the small village justice of the peace, which was then operating in the current police station next to the municipal parking lot. In the wake of the excitement over the information she was collecting for social commentary later in the village, she forgot the dessert, resulting in the entire house burning down again. The story of the building continued in 2008, when engineer Γιούλη Κραβαρίτου fell in love with the building and its history and wanted to regenerate it stone by stone, which she did by dividing it into 4 wonderful apartments: Αρχοντικό Γιούλη where she already lived, Νόνη, Αναστασία and Ηρώ. They are all available for rent to accommodate both large groups at the same time and individual travelers. Guest access The house is located in the first fifty meters of the cobblestone road that leads to the Mileai station, below the playground which is next to the central square of the village. You can hike to Boufa or follow the train tracks. Registration Details 00002527320
