Private 2-bedroom suite that includes a full bath, living room, fenced in patio w/fire pit and grilling essentials. Location is above a long-time established store/ice cream shop within the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest in Vilas County. It’s on the 52-mile Heart of Vilas Paved Bicycle Trail. Bike/kayak rentals available. Convenient to many area lakes, campgrounds and resorts. It can be used as an "overflow location" to minimize overcrowding in a campsite or family cottage. The space Bedrooms are upstairs and includes a sitting area and private bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a double and two twin beds while Bedroom 2 includes a queen bed and futon. Access to living room/dinette area is on the lower level. Small refrigerator and microwave available for use. Off road parking and storage for bicycles is available. Kitchen privileges are available upon request. Food and supplies available for purchase in the store. Guest access Guests have full access to the designated upstairs bedrooms and private full bathroom as well as downstairs living room/dinette area. Fenced in patio area can be used to relax, build a fire or grill out. Beyond that is a store and ice cream shop with a yard that can be utilized by guests along with regular customers. Guest WIFI is available onsite. Paved bike trail is located right across the road leading to many beautiful lakes and forests trails as well as neighboring towns. Ample parking available for vehicles, boats, bikes and other "toys" you might be bringing to enjoy the area. During your stay I'm available onsite to check you in, get you oriented and answer any questions you may have. If new to the area, I can help you plan your stay with maps, visitor guides and recommendations. Bicycle, kayak, and paddleboard rentals are onsite. Since I also run the store and ice cream shop, I may be working a shift or running errands, but will always work to make myself available when/if needed for any questions/concerns whether in person or by phone/text.
