Enjoy a stay in beautiful surroundings with fantastic mountain and fjord views. The vacation home is situated by itself, surrounded by woods and beautiful nature. The space Welcome to a vacation home in a quiet and peaceful location, with lovely views of mountains and fjords. The property is in a scenic location, far from the nearest permanent resident neighbor. The vacation home is in a secluded location and is not in a cabin area. Plenty of space to move around. Forest/hiking trail just behind the house and several in the immediate vicinity, close to the lake and potential fishing. Suitable for adults and families with children who want a quiet place, with the possibility of activities in the nearby area. 10 minutes to Valldal, 10 minutes to the ferry dock to Stranda, 5 minutes to the Linge ferry dock that goes to Eidsdal, and by car further to Geiranger. The home has 4 bedrooms with double beds, as well as a bunk bed that can accommodate two children/teenagers. The maximum weight load is 80 kg per bunk. A crib for smaller children is available in one of the bedrooms. Mattress protectors, a single duvet and two pillows are included for each bed. Bed linen included, upon request. Cozy living/dining room. TV with Chromecast. Dining table with 8 chairs + 2 high chairs (Tripp Trapp chairs). One with access to ski rack, boards and harnesses, the other without. Access to some toys for children, located under the TV stand. Board games for adults and children. Fireplace with possibilities for wood burning. Firewood bags can be purchased for NOK 50. Spacious, furnished kitchen with access to all you need. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Dressing table available. Towels included, upon request. Laundry room in the basement, with access to a washing machine. Clothes drying rack. Access to freezer. Porch with tables and benches with space for 10 people. Hot tub available. Please let me know if you would like the water to be set to a certain temperature before your arrival. Garage/carport with space for one car. Electric car chargers available for rent upon request (NOK 5/kWh). Guest access The entire property can be used (on the side facing the road). However, we recommend not using the back side, beyond the area for the trampoline, as there is unfinished construction there. Other things to note There is some work going on around the house and property, as shown in the pictures. This will not be restrictive for guests. Work will NOT take place during the rental period, and upgrades between bookings will be communicated on an ongoing basis. There are two cats living on the property. These are stray cats that have access to food, drink, and shelter in the barn. They may want to come in. It's up to the guests to decide if they want to. Let us know if this becomes a nuisance. Trash cans are located by the bus shelter by the main road. Guests clean up after themselves. Detergents and equipment will be available in the laundry room. In case of missing/inadequate cleaning, there will be a fee of NOK 1,500.
