At the heart of this hidden woodland camp is a generous outdoor kitchen and dining space. Bake pizzas, cook over charcoal and gather around the long table beneath the parachute. Hear the trees sigh, the chiffchaff’s warble and the trains steaming past. Sleep in the spacious, luxe pump-up tent or suspended in the canopy in our two flying tents on the pitch Wake to birdsong. Brew coffee beneath the canopy. Loaf in a hammock. Wander to the woodland shower before doing it all again. The space Wealderness is a quiet and secluded twenty-five acre area of meadow, hedgerow and streams in a part of the Weald to Waves rewilding habitat corridor. You’ll very much be away from the hubbub - this site offers a secluded corner to escape to. There’s fast WiFi in the nearby pony trailer ‘reading room’. Guest access The camps and pitches on site are well spaced out to ensure guests can enjoy peace and seclusion. Other things to note The site is a rewilding project and while we have made some paths, the ground is uneven. The gully camp in particular has steep banks. Care must be taken and flat shoes are a must.
