Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish retreat on the edge of Prague. The architect-designed house features a spacious glass living area overlooking the garden, creating a quiet connection to nature and light throughout the day. Ideal for a city escape, remote work, or a peaceful stay. Guests can enjoy the garden, small natural pond, sauna, and intimate corners designed for rest and slow living. The space Arthouse is a spacious architect-designed home on the edge of Prague, created as a calm place for living, rest and creative work. The house is oriented towards the garden and filled with natural light throughout the day, with a generous glass living space opening directly onto the terrace and greenery outside. The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen connected to the main living area with a 4.5 m high ceiling and large windows overlooking the garden. From the living room, glass doors lead directly to the terrace with outdoor seating and further into the garden with a Finnish sauna and natural swimming pond. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, washing machine and dryer, and a cooler guest bedroom with two beds — especially pleasant during hot summer days. Upstairs you will find the main bedroom with a double bed, a second bathroom, and an open gallery space with a single bed and desk, suitable for resting or quiet work. Please note that the house is not air-conditioned. During summer, the sun naturally heats the glass living area and temperatures can become quite warm during the day. Cooler parts of the house, the garden and the pond help balance this atmosphere, and the pricing reflects this characteristic of the space. The house is ideal for: – couples or smaller groups looking for calm and privacy – guests who appreciate architecture, atmosphere and nature – slower stays, remote work or quiet evenings in the garden A friendly black cat lives on the property and may occasionally appear around the garden and outdoor areas. There are also a few chickens down in the garden, adding to the quiet countryside atmosphere of the place. Guest access Free parking is available on the street. Guests have access to the main house, terrace, garden, Finnish sauna and natural swimming pond. Two rooms upstairs remain closed and are not part of the rental. Other things to note The space is designed for rest, focus and slower living, and is not suitable for parties or noisy celebrations. Please note that smoking is not permitted indoors. We welcome thoughtful guests who appreciate calm surroundings and considerate use of the space. As this is also our family home, we kindly ask guests to treat it with care and respect. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate dogs, as there is a resident cat living on the property.
