Fairholme. Dogs and well-behaved humans welcome
Description
Whatever your reason for coming to Bodfari, you will instantly feel at home. Wonderful views from our balcony and in an AONB, (on Offa’s Dyke path); we have beautiful walks and are close to stunning beaches, historical castles, Snowdonia - everything that makes North Wales a must visit place! We are only 6 miles from St Asaph Cathedral, 23 miles from Wrexham FC, 29 miles from Chester Zoo, and the Dinorben is only 86 steps (front door to bar) - depending how long your legs are! The space Fairholme is a 2 storey detached red bricked property; the bedrooms and main bathroom are upstairs (the stairs are quite steep) but there is a toilet off the garden room on the ground floor). The house is opposite the Dinorben Arms in the lovely village of Bodfari. St Stephen’s church is grade 2 listed and boasts a mediaeval tower and is next door to the pub. There are lovely walks - we have laminated some of them so feel free to explore with map in hand! Denbigh is just down the road and has more listed buildings than any other town in Wales as well as its very own castle which was built by Edward 1 in 1282. Other things to note Let us know if you require a cot/high chair or side rails for small children. As well as a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table to seat 6, Fairholme has a comfy lounge with a log burner, smart TV and WiFi. Through the lounge there is small garden room with patio doors onto the balcony with a lovely covered seating area and spectacular views of the Clwydian hills. There is a small fenced back garden which dogs are welcome to use but we ask that you please clean up after them; there are dog bags under the sink. We provide 2 food and water bowls should you need them but do not provide dog beds. The Dinorben Arms is. Dog and child friendly and takes about 3 minutes to get from Fairholme to the bar! There is central heating but also fans should it get warm.
