Willow Lodge | Hidden New Forest Retreat

Willow Lodge is a peaceful couples’ retreat in the heart of the New Forest, just minutes from Lyndhurst. With its own private entrance and large secluded garden, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Explore woodland walks, spot the famous New Forest ponies, visit charming pubs and villages, or simply enjoy the tranquillity of your surroundings. A perfect base for a romantic getaway and discovering all that the New Forest has to offer. The space Willow Lodge provides a small kitchen with fridge, small gas hob, kettle and cooking basics. Or you can take a seat outside at the table and chairs and have a BBQ. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and sink. Guest access Parking & Access: We like to keep things peaceful so the Mead End campsite itself is a car-free space, but parking is in our secure top field, only accessible by coded locked gate. The code will be sent to you once you have booked. We ask that you bring as few cars as possible, 2 cars maximum would be ideal. Luggage Wheelbarrow: Once you’re parked, simply grab your luggage wheelbarrow, fill it up and head down to Willow Lodge. Getting Around: Sway train station is a 5-minute walk to away, which means you can get anywhere you want easily, whether it's to jump in the sea at Bournemouth beach or to hire bikes in Brockenhurst for a day of exploration around the forest. Local Pubs & Shops: Within walking distance of Mead End Camping are two pubs: The Silver Hind and The Hare and Hounds for great local fare and drinks. The village of Sway is also home to a fantastic local butcher and a Co-Op supermarket for all your needs.
