Nestled between olive groves and vineyards, this restored estate blends rustic elegance and comfort. Each bedroom opens to mature gardens and the terraced patio provides an unforgettable setting. The space Il Sogno is a private, classic, Tuscan stone home set on a hilltop olive farm which produces award-winning extra virgin olive oil. The villa features beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with sweeping views of the valley, and doors that open to the private garden. Inside, the home offers large, inviting living and dining areas with expansive windows that frame views of the surrounding gardens, valleys and rolling hills. Traditional Tuscan architecture adorns the home with exposed wooden beams, brick arches, and a cozy stone fireplace. The private, terraced patio and garden are perfect for dining, entertaining, or relaxing with an aperitivo or glass of local wine while watching incredible sunsets. This spacious terrace accommodates 20 or more guests for al fresco dining. Complete with a built in stone barbecue grill and wood burning oven (forno a legna) guests will enjoy unobstructed, panoramic views of the olive trees and nearby medieval hilltop towns. Enjoy our beautiful, large, in ground swimming pool, equipped with sun beds and umbrellas. It is in the garden area, a short walk down the garden path. There is a covered pergola, perfect for shade and a lite bite, as well as an outdoor shower. The pool is shared with the 8 other home owners of our small hamlet. Ideally located, the villa offers easy access to all the major sites of the region. Important historic towns such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza, Volterra, Cortona and Arezzo are nearby. Il Sogno is located in the UNESCO World Heritage, Val d’Orcia Region, home to world-class wine producing areas such as Montalcino (Brunello) and Montepulciano (Vino Nobile). The Chianti Classico and Bolgheri wine regions are nearby as well. Additionally, thermal springs, seaside towns and beaches are easily accessible. Your host will be happy to suggest various itineraries and experiences that will provide lifetime memories. Guest access The entire home, private garden and terrace as well as the pool are available to our guests. There are also two, free parking spaces on the property. Other things to note Upon booking confirmation, we will provide a helpful guide of suggested tips, itinerary suggestions, important historical towns/sites, vineyards, restaurants and experiences.
