Snakes, scorpions and other bugs are found in the area. Water and power supply may be limited from time to time. However, we have made provision with back up water tanks and insect screens throughout the house. Uis has a supermarket, coffee shop and a fuel station. A public medical clinic can be found in Main Road, but the nearest hospital is located in Swakopmund.
