A bit rural, in middle of mountains and nature. 90 min. from Reykjavík and 3 min. from main road. A comfortable bed, kitchen to prepare your own meal(No food serving), great surrounding, hot tub and raw nature. You are spot on driving north, south or visiting west. Snæfelsnes peninsula road is close by. Natural hot springs, Viking home of Erik the Red and his son Leif the Lucky who discovered America and the Leif Eiriksson Center all in the area. The space Identical with chalet 2 both 22 m2, perfect for 2 grownup persons so the other 2 guests is more intended for children rather than 2 more grownups unless you are comfortable with less space pr. person and obvious limits on cocking and dining facility, Chalet 3 is more spacious and better equipped though. An attic with sleeping options for 2 on mattresses on the floor. For an infant we have a cot, contact us upfront for it. Bed sheet, duvet and pillow cover and a towel per person provided. Salt, pepper, oil and welcome doses of coffee, tea and sugar. Guest access Parking is free few steps away by the old farm house. Sulfur smell is to be expected from the hot water in Iceland. Cold water from the tab is safe to drink. Hot tub is few steps aside, joint use with other chalets. WiFi: Guest_WiFi is open. Other things to note As a farm chalet, still easy to find, you need to be able to locate us with our link or clear directions in info. Household animals are in it's nature benevolent, treat them with care, be calm and enjoy their presence and curiosity, never the less be careful as they are powerful, spontaneous and can be harsh by accidental. Mind the safety of children with animals close and also when outside f.a.ex. by the hot tub and playing by the stream running close by. Flies, spiders and other harmless insects are all around in the country side so expect to find few dead or alive in the chalet, despite our effort while cleaning.
