Guests are also welcome to enjoy the nearby beach areas and relaxing outdoor island surroundings while respecting village customs and shared spaces. We are happy to assist with transportation, local information, island activities, or anything needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Other things to note 🌴Please Note (NB) NB: A mandatory meal package of FJ$60 per person, per day is payable in cash upon arrival. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Collecting the meal payment on arrival allows us to purchase fresh local ingredients each day and prepare delicious home-cooked meals throughout your stay. Please ensure you are comfortable with these additional costs before confirming your booking. 🚤 Getting Here Our homestay is located on the beautiful Waya Lailai Island in the Yasawa Islands, Fiji. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll be happy to provide detailed travel information and assist you with planning your journey. Transportation Options: * The Yasawa Flyer ferry is the main and recommended way to reach Waya Lailai Island. * From the ferry drop-off point, a local boat transfer to our homestay costs FJ$25 per person (one way) and is payable directly to the local boat operator. * Guests who prefer a private local boat transfer may choose this option instead of the ferry. This service is optional and must be arranged in advance. * 1 guest: FJ$180 each way (arrival or departure). * 2 or more guests: FJ$150 per person, each way. NB: Private local boat transfers are subject to weather, sea conditions, and boat availability, so schedules may vary. 🌴 Before You Book Our homestay is located in a peaceful traditional Fijian village, and we kindly ask all guests to respect our local customs and way of life. * Ladies are kindly asked to wear a sarong when walking through the village as a sign of respect. * Please remove hats when walking through the village, as wearing hats is considered disrespectful in Fijian village culture. * Sundays are dedicated to church, family, and rest. Out of respect for the community, no tours or activities are offered on Sundays. Guests are welcome to relax, enjoy the beach, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of island life.
