The lodge also offers mountain views, hiking access, a cozy atmosphere, and a unique overnight experience in the Norwegian mountains. You can only arrive by: • train • bicycle • hiking There is no road access to the lodge. 🚗 Arriving by car? You must park your car in Flåm and take the Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana) to Myrdal Station. We recommend purchasing train tickets in advance through the Vy or Flåmsbana websites, especially during the busy summer season. 🍽 There are NO grocery stores in Myrdal. The closest supermarkets are located in Flåm and Voss. We strongly recommend bringing food and supplies before arrival. There is a café/restaurant called Café Rallaren at Myrdal Station where you can buy food and drinks. 🚆 Please check your train connections carefully before traveling, especially if arriving in the evening. 🐶 We have a small resident dog who lives at the lodge. He loves greeting guests and may come to say hello when you arrive. He is very friendly and enjoys meeting new people. 🚿 Please note that bathrooms, showers, and kitchen facilities are shared with other guests.
