In the heart of the village of Guémené, in a small, unique, tastefully decorated house, you can drop your bags and enjoy life in the village and the surrounding area. Free parking just a stone's throw away, convenience store 20 m away The space Entry to the vacation rental is through the kitchen, which features a cheerful, vintage décor. It is equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, a table and 4 comfortable chairs, and a large closet where you can store your groceries, games, and books. Everything you need for a great time together! Then you enter the hallway, which leads to the staircase going upstairs and to the laundry room. In the laundry room, you can store your coats, bags, boots, rainwear, walking shoes, etc. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drying rack, a wheeled shopping bag for your groceries, and an emergency umbrella... they can come in handy! You go upstairs via a rustic wooden staircase. On the half-landing, you will find the first bedroom, which is decorated in light colors and is very relaxing, and the floral-themed bathroom, which also has a few books. You go up the stairs, and on the left, there is a beautiful bathroom with a large shower. At the end of the hallway, there is the second bedroom, which also serves as a living room with a stone fireplace, an easy-to-unfold sofa bed, and a very comfortable mattress. From this very relaxing room, you will also have a view of a small square in the city center. Next to the listing, I am renovating a room to set up my pottery/modeling/sculpture and other arts studio… It's a work in progress, and I hope to share my passion with you very soon. Guest access In the town center, turn onto Rue de la Fontaine, where the entrance to the cottage is on the left, through the red, small-checked door. And of course, you can find the real, famous “Andouille de Guémené” at the Maison de l'Andouille Rivallan-Quidu or at the Maison Levesque delicatessen. Finally, in Guémené, you will also find clothing stores, opticians, hairdressers, a florist, flea markets, a pharmacy, garages, a veterinarian, a bakery, and a tattoo parlor. When it comes to sightseeing, you can visit the city center and its beautiful gabled houses facing the street. “Les Bains de la Reine,” an old medieval steam bath, the remains of the castle, and the fountains. You can climb the hill using the staircase near the church to reach the “bell mountain,” then walk back down through the narrow streets and gardens and admire the town's historic rooftops.
