A 'light and airy', calm, minimalist retro space within an historical open-plan converted stable block with country / farmland views. There is a fresh Mediterranean feel to the space – with ceramic tiles and wooden shutters / fly screens throughout. There is an emphasis on natural materials / textiles. It is also a dog / smoke free zone. This creates a clean / breathable space which may particularly benefit those who suffer with related allergies / sensitivities. The space Bathroom, kitchenette / laundry and bedroom are separate rooms with doors – all of which lead off an open plan reception / living / dining area with double height ceiling / mezzanine (and study area accessed by the space saving stairs). There is an option to section off the study with a custom-made room divider. While there is no enclosed garden, there is a small seating area outside and ample parking. Due to regulations, there isn't a traditional oven or hobs for cooking food. However, the compact laundry room has a washing machine and cleverly doubles as a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster and other gadgets. A fridge/freezer is neatly tucked under the space saving stairs that lead to the study and enclosed laundry hanging space with ironing equipment. While there isn't a fully equipped gym, the study area is also the perfect place for exercising and does have a small mat and light weights for guests to use – should they wish to make use of these. NO TV LICENSE for the property. However, guest's own TV licenses will legally cover their viewing of live TV on their own devices while travelling. Guest access Guests will have sole use of living / dining, bathroom, laundry / kitchenette, workspace room on first floor and bedroom with own entrance and outdoor seating area. This space is completely private and self-contained. However, please note that the host lives in the property next door. The driveway is shared with the host who also has an enclosed garden that may be partially visible to you, so you may spot them (including a friendly/elderly dog - see photos) out and about during your stay. Unfortunately, the guest space is not suitable for pets though.
