A house with the charm of yesteryear, where Norman authenticity and the serenity of nature create the perfect place for a family getaway or a romantic getaway, in complete tranquility. Just 1.5 hours from Paris, come and enjoy the quietness of the Normandy countryside in an authentic farmhouse that has been completely renovated. Here, the days begin with birdsong and a coffee in the garden. They continue with a stroll through Norman villages or the discovery of the charming markets of the surrounding villages, before ending around a fireplace when the evenings turn chilly. The house is ideal for people looking for calm and nature You will enjoy a garden, a peaceful environment and all the comforts you need to feel right at home. A 65 m² house with old-world charm, designed to accommodate up to six guests. On the ground floor, this vacation rental has a living/dining room with a large fireplace, a separate fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, each equipped with a 160 x 200 cm bed, one with a toilet, as well as a landing room converted into a living room (equipped with a 140 x 190 cm sofa bed that can be used as an extra bed for 2 people). Nearby, many activities await you depending on the season: tree climbing, hiking or mountain biking in the forest or countryside, canoeing, horseback riding, and much more. In summer, take advantage of the long days to explore the area or simply relax in the garden in the shade of the trees. In the winter, recharge by the fire with a good book or board game. The region is full of historical treasures: discover the castle and arboretum of Harcourt, the castle of Beaumesnil, Lisieux and its basilica, the Abbey of Bec-Hellouin, or the picturesque village of Beuvron-en-Auge. Located only 1h15 from the coast (Deauville/Trouville), our cottage is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, whether for a summer getaway or a cocooning stay in winter. Other things to note As our wooden staircase (see photos) is not suitable for children under 15 years of age, we are unfortunately forced to refuse reservation requests with young children for safety reasons. We have two cottages on this property. The parking area is shared by both cottages. Possibility to rent the entire estate. Access to the entire property is strictly reserved for guests who are declared and included in the booking. Any presence, even temporary, of people not included in the booking is prohibited.
