Quiet & relaxation near Saalfeld

Today, I live with my dog in the house that once belonged to my grandmother and that I am renovating step by step with a lot of effort. To preserve this special place, I have created a small, lovingly designed retreat for guests. Enjoy the tranquility of country life, beautiful nature & vast sunsets that make you forget about everyday life. Because of my van trips, I prefer a minimalist lifestyle. :) The space The apartment has a small bedroom with a 1.4 x 2.0 m bed, a bedside table and a dresser. The small living room in front has a small table with 2 chairs, an armchair with a side table and a dresser. There is a refrigerator, kettle, small oven, toaster & coffee maker. From the vestibule, a spiral staircase leads you down to the lower floor. The entryway is currently still under renovation, but can be used for jackets and shoes. On the lower floor is the bathroom, which is currently still shared but can be locked. The washing machine can be used at a fee of 3€. In the yard, you can use a small sitting area and a barbecue. The courtyard is completely fenced in, in case you are also bringing a pet. A lockable garage is available for bicycles and motorcycles. Please let us know briefly about this. For a fee of €20, my stand-up paddle board can be used for the Hohenwarte reservoir. The surroundings offer you the opportunity to simply unwind; you will be impressed by the tranquility. The forest above the village resembles the forest in Sweden and invites you to take a walk. There are countless newly signposted hiking trails. Highly recommended: Schwarzburg Castle (4 km), Schneidemühle Braunsdorf (3.3 km), Eberstein Hunting Lodge (6 km) or Dittersdorf Lookout House (2 km). 10 min (car) to Bad Blankenburg: Greifenstein Castle, Wehr with Schwarzat Valley walk, etc. 15 min (car) to Saalfeld: Hoher Schwarm, old town with city gates, fairy grottoes, keep, Weidig (walk along the Saale), sand dunes, Kulmberghaus, etc. 15 min (car) to Rudolstadt: Heidecksburg, Heine-Park, etc. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to write me a message in advance :) During your stay Interaction is possible at any time via Airbnb's chat feature.
