"Kokonchi" is a private lodging facility located in the Ichinokido Shopping District in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture. We renovated a vacant house and created a space that is somewhat nostalgic, but also has a modern, comfortable feel. The name "Kokonchi" expresses the desire for guests to feel free to come back as if it were their own home, and it also incorporates the meaning of "old and new (kokon)" that combines the good old things with the present. The host is always on-site, and the room can accommodate from 1 to a maximum of 6 people. It's great for spending a relaxing time alone or having a lively time with friends and family. It's a perfect place as a base for travel or as a little extension of your daily life. It is located in a shopping street, so there are local shops and friendly people in the area. One of the attractions is that you can enjoy not only sightseeing but also the atmosphere of the city. "Why don't I stay here for a while?"
