Casa Magnolia - The cellar

Our house is in Pinal de Amoles, a town with magic, a few steps from the main square and the church's atrium so you can walk through its small streets between red gabled roofs. The ideal starting point to discover the natural wonders of the Sierra Gorda: Chuveje, Puente de Dios, Bucareli, and many more. We look forward to seeing you. The space The main structure of our house dates back to approximately 1910 and over the years this area has served different purposes such as a stable, seed warehouse, house and due to characteristics such as being below street level and adobe walls more than a meter thick, it served as a wine cellar and liquors from fruits of the region such as apple and quince. One of the last remodeling projects my dad did to the house was to set up this space as a bedroom with the main purpose of my mom sleeping there on nights with strong winds <3. The cellar is divided with a slope in the lower part. The floor is made of local slab stone and the upper part is a beautiful plank. Its large private bathroom has excellent lighting that allows you to appreciate the details made in stone and wood. Guest access Being in the lower part of the main building, access is via stairs that can be difficult to use for elderly people with mobility difficulties or people in general with this characteristic. Other things to note The space is located in the lower part of our house, so stairs are required. It is a space enabled for accommodation but is not isolated from the main house and other spaces also inhabited by other guests and/or inhabitants of the house. The municipal auditorium is on the street next to the house, and occasionally on weekends there are parties and/or events that can be noisy.
