The space Writers Retreat is a cozy 1970s farm cottage set in a mature garden, thoughtfully updated for modern comfort. Wake to birdsong and enjoy abundant natural light throughout the compact, inviting space. A covered patio offers outdoor dining and lounging, while a separate living room is perfect for relaxing with a book. The cottage features two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), two bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area that flows onto the shaded patio. A housekeeper is provided for cleaning and dishes. This is a self-catered stay—please bring your own food and drinks; a chef can be arranged in advance at an extra cost. Ideal for couples, duos, or solo retreats. Guest access The property has adequate parking space and guests can enjoy guided farm tours where you can visit the coffee plantation, coffee processing factory and avocado orchard. Kindly note that guests who are not on the original booking cannot access the property. Other things to note We have a back up generator in case of power outages. Please make sure that children are supervised at all times. The housekeeper will not perform child minding duties. At night we have guard dogs on the property, under no circumstances must you leave the fenced house area at night time. In addition, our own friendly dogs are inside the fenced area at night, they may come and say hello! When you are making a booking please indicate the correct number of guests. As we are situated in a natural and wild setting, we tend to have a variety of insects and geckos. Please take this into consideration when making your booking.
