Our homestay in Kiribathkumbura, Sri Lanka, is special for its peaceful setting, warm hospitality, and authentic local experience. Surrounded by greenery and close to Kandy, it offers comfort and a true sense of village life. Guests are welcomed like family, making it a relaxing home away from home where nature joins kindness. Our home reflects the simplicity and charm of Sri Lankan culture. Spacious rooms, open verandas, and natural light create a comfortable and relaxing environment. The space This fourth-floor apartment is accessed by a staircase with a separate private entrance. This floor features 2 bedrooms and shared open-plan living. Each bedroom has one double bed and a large wardrobe for storage. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, essential cutlery, and a dining table with six chairs. The living room offers a comfortable six-seater sofa set, with a modern smart UHD TV. There are two separate bathrooms, both fitted with a shower and hot water, a toilet with a bidet and toilet paper, a mirror, and a power outlet suitable for a shaver. Guest access In addition to the private bedroom, guests have access to several outdoor spaces that highlight the scenic surroundings of the property:Private Balconies: Step outside onto the balconies to enjoy fresh air and views of the immediate neighborhood. Outdoor Garden: The property features a garden area, providing a peaceful green space at ground level. Rooftop Terrace: The highlight of the building is the accessible rooftop, which offers a stunning, panoramic view of the Hanthana Mountain Range. This elevated space is ideal for photography, morning coffee, or sunset viewing. Other things to note The property offers a peaceful and private atmosphere, ideal for guests seeking relaxation and quiet enjoyment. Rooftop and balcony areas are designed for leisure; guests are kindly asked to supervise children at all times in these spaces. Outdoor areas, including the garden and rooftop, are part of the natural tropical environment, so occasional insects may be present despite regular maintenance. The property is best enjoyed by guests who appreciate nature, open-air living, and scenic surroundings. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Events, parties, or loud music are not allowed in order to maintain a refined and tranquil environment for all guests.
