Volta Palazzo Gout
Description
It's not easy to find a place so rich in history and one of a kind. The building dates back to the 1200s as a defensive tower house that was transformed into a dwelling around 1850 and subsequently placed under the protection of the Superintendence of Fine Arts and inhabited by families from the town until the 1960s. In 1979, it was sold by the Municipality of Costa di Mezzate through a public auction and then restored by the Nicoli family under the supervision of the Superintendence of Fine Arts of Milan.
