Welcome to Sunset Cove, a private modern lakefront retreat designed for relaxing, reconnecting and enjoying life. Swim from your private dock, spend the afternoon on the lake, gather for dinner on the deck, watch beautiful sunsets, then unwind in the private hot tub or by the fire. Just 1.5 hours from Halifax and 25 minutes from Bridgewater, Sunset Cove sleeps up to eight across four comfortable bedrooms— ideal for families, couples and groups looking to escape without sacrificing comfort. The space Sunset Cove is located on Black Rattle Lake in Nova Scotia's South Shore cottage country, approximately 25 minutes from Bridgewater. The cottage is accessed by a gravel road and offers a peaceful lakefront setting surrounded by nature. Lake & Outdoor Activities Black Rattle Lake is suitable for swimming, fishing and non-motorized water activities. Guests have access to our private dock, two pedal boats and eight adult-size life jackets, provided for use at your own risk. A boat launch into Beavertail Basin, which connects to Molega Lake, is approximately 500 metres away. Miles of gravel cottage roads are available for walking, biking and ATV use. We ask that all guests drive respectfully and be considerate of our neighbours. Wi-Fi & Cell Service There is no cellular reception directly at the cottage and reception in the surrounding area can be limited. However, the cottage has Bell FibreOP high-speed Wi-Fi, and guests can enable Wi-Fi calling on compatible phones for calls and messages. Water The home's water supply comes from a rainwater collection system and, when required, lake water. The water is filtered and treated with UV light for household use but has not been tested for drinking. Complimentary drinking water is provided for guests through water coolers. During periods of dry weather, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of household water use. Hot Tub The private hot tub is maintained at approximately 102°F for guest enjoyment. For comfort and safety, please follow the hot tub guidelines provided in our House Rules and at the property. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the whole property, including everything pictured in the listing. This includes the large deck, BBQ, fire pit, private dock, hot tub, peddle boats, as well as all outdoor seating areas. Everything shown is yours to enjoy — no shared spaces, just a peaceful and private lakeside retreat.
