Nestled under the walls of Scarborough Castle, close proximity to the South Bay beach, amusements, bars, restaurants and cafes and Scarborough town centre. The space A cosy, traditional coastal cottage just a 5 minute walk to the harbour, pier and South Bay beach. Cosy Bay Cottage sleeps 4 guests. Over 3 floors you will find a charming living area with a multi fuel log burner and a smart tv with free view channels this leads through to the country cottage style kitchen. Fully equipped with fridge/freezer, range cooker, wine cooler, microwave. There is a separate utility area with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. The second floor you will find the main double bedroom with cosy country cottage decor and a beautiful large family bathroom with a walk in wet room shower and free standing bath. Walking up to the third floor you will have beautiful sea views overlooking the South Bay and onto Cayton and Filey in the distance and then you will find the cosy twin bedroom. Outside, we have a beautiful south facing courtyard with an outdoor table and chairs to enjoy alfresco meals which catches the sun from dawn until dusk. Cosy Bay cottage has undergone a complete renovation in 2021. All towels and bed linens are provided and a travel cot and high chair/stairgate are available. Please take into consideration that Cosy Bay is very close to the beach, therefore is home to the seagulls too which can be quite vocal! As Cosy Bay is a traditional coastal cottage, and located in the old town of Scarborough, the front door leads straight onto the road so care must be taken. There is on road parking, but unfortunately does get very busy in the summer months. A parking permit will be available as it is a disk zone area but there is a overnight pay and display car park in close proximity.
