Perfect for young couples or solo travelers looking to step away from daily life for a while. The open-plan layout is cleverly and harmoniously designed. You’ll find a cozy sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven (microwave function), induction cooktop, and wooden countertop, and a stylish bathroom with sea-green tiles, gold accents, and a luxurious rain shower. Green hues and golden details are subtly woven throughout the interior, creating a warm and calming atmosphere. Large windows invite the outdoors in and bathe the space in natural light throughout the day. The sleeping loft is accessed via a steep staircase and offers a snug, secure sleeping space with a comfortable double mattress from Matt Sleep and high-quality bedding. Please note: due to the stairs, the house is less suitable for those with limited mobility. Unique features at a glance: - Sustainable & energy-efficient: The house runs entirely on electricity from 22 solar panels and was updated in 2024 with newly insulated walls and black wooden cladding. - Coffee & tea experience: Start your morning with sustainable coffee from De Koffiejongens or a calming tea from Pukka. - Comfort & ambiance: In winter, a matte black pellet stove creates a cozy atmosphere; in summer, air conditioning keeps the space cool. High-speed internet and a comfortable workspace also make it ideal for a workation. - Outdoor enjoyment: The private terrace overlooking the Baarzandse Kreek is the perfect spot for your morning coffee, reading in the afternoon sun, or sipping a glass of wine at sunset. Thanks to valuable feedback from our guests as well as the expertise of my father-in-law, who has worked as a carpenter all his life, we make improvements every March and November. The latest improvements in November 2024: - Sustainability and design: Extra insulation and new, stylish black wall coverings. - Entertainment: A television with Dutch and German channels as well as Netflix. - Kitchen pleasure: Extensive kitchen inventory to cook delicious meals on the induction hob or in the combi-oven. - Comfort: New sofa, armchair, table, chairs and cozy accessories. - Outdoor enjoyment: New patio furniture and atmospheric outdoor lights. - Active enjoyment: Two free bikes (if available) for scenic tours of the area. - General maintenance, painting, caulking and major cleaning.
