The Smilin House

The Smilin House was custom built in 2025 for me, Konrad Thaler, a German born living in California for my frequent stays in Namibia. My neighbor and friends Lusia and Sevelia are the hosts and are in charge of the rental and will be available should you need any assistance. Welcome to beautiful Otjiwarongo The space The modern elegant house has cool tile floors throughout. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a walk in closet and it’s own bathroom. The second bathroom comes with a washing machine. The well stocked kitchen has an electric stove and a large fridge and freezer. There are 2 A/C’s and 2 ceiling fans. The outdoor area has a traditional Braii and 2 cozy outdoor deck chairs for an afternoon cocktail. The entire property has an inside and outside alarm system. Welcome to beautiful Otjiwarongo Guest access You are getting the entire house including a garage for your car. It has a modern master suite kitchen and living room with another bedroom ( no bed though) . Please stay in touch with Luisa or me for your expected arrival since we have to hand you your keys. We are still working on a system to allow remote access. Until then, we will wait for your arrival. Other things to note Otjiwarongo is the best Namibia has to offer. It’s big enough to provide everything from fine dining, a bustling downtown all the way to a crocodile farm. Visit the nearby Cheetah Conservation Foundation (CCF) or a day trip to the Waterberg Plateau National Park. Otjiwarongo is also within striking distance to the Etosha National Park, the crown jewel of Namibia and a must see. Welcome to beautiful Otjiwarongo
