The smell of the oiled wood, combined with the herbs from the sauna infusion, form a perfect symbiosis and will stimulate your senses. Vogelsang, as a district of the municipality of Vogelsang-Warsin, is located directly on the coast of the Szczecin Lagoon. The village has been dominated for generations by Vogelsang Castle, which was built according to plans by Schinkel in 1842. The small sandy beach is 600 m from the town center and offers water lovers a cool down. If you want to bring your boat, you can launch it in the small marina. From Vogelsang-Warsin you can reach the harbor town of Ueckermünde with many small shops and good gastronomy via the dike in just 20 minutes by bike. But the region also has a lot to offer. The Riether Winkel and the entire Szczecin Lagoon are located in the middle of the "Szczecin Lagoon Nature Park." Here you can take the most beautiful cycling and hiking tours "Around Lake Neuwarper." The rental bike will be delivered directly to the vacation home. A cutter takes you across the lagoon and you can discover the island of Usedom on the horizon. How about a cooking class or vegetarian spreads and fresh bread in the Gesundhaus Klatschmohn, a horseback ride at Fennhof Ludwigsburg or a trip to the many small and original lagoon beaches from Altwarp to Ueckermünde. You can also reach these via a bike path if you don't want to use the car. The Riether Winkel region and the entire Szczecin Lagoon offer you a fantastic relaxing holiday in untouched countryside between forest and water, far away from the tourist hotspots. Other things to note The best way to reach Vogelsang is by car (rental car). The closest train station is in Eggesin. From here you can take a taxi for about 15 minutes to 20 minutes to Rieth, and from Rieth for about 15 minutes to your house in Vogelsang. Please note: if you arrive by train, there is no grocery store in the village. These would have to be ordered online in advance, e.g. at mytime or purchased before starting the taxi ride.
