Beautiful, quiet guest room in Percy

Quiet guest room in Percy-en-Normandie, ideal for a nature holiday in the Norman bocage. Bathroom and kitchen/living room area shared between guests. On site, there is the option of full board and equestrian activities with our partners, subject to availability. Nearby: Villedieu-les-Poêles and its crafts, Hambye Abbey, the beautiful beaches of the English Channel, Granville and its heritage, and Mont-St-Michel. Equestrian boarding on site with our partner. The space Reconnect with nature! The accommodation is located on an equestrian farm in the heart of the countryside, while still being close to all amenities. Outside, there is space to park your vehicle, trailer, van, etc. There are meadows with chickens and horses all around the accommodation. Our 2 farm cats will certainly come to greet you during your stay. An outdoor table is also available for you to have your coffee or meal outside if you wish. The entrance has a cabinet to store your shoes and a coat rack with umbrella stand, and leads on one side to a kitchen/living room area reserved for guests and on the other side to our private area. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a toilet (hand soap and toilet paper provided) reserved for guests, as well as our private bedroom. The room you will have at your disposal offers a pleasant view of the horses and will allow you to admire magnificent sunrises. It is equipped with a 140x190 double bed. The room has a blackout curtain, heating, a desk, a wardrobe and storage shelves. Bedding and towels are provided. Books are also available. Slippers are compulsory upstairs (bare solid wood flooring). There are 2 dogs in our private area, and you may come across them during their daily walks. Guest access The accommodation is set back from the public road in a quiet rural location, at the end of a cul-de-sac. Located 3 km from the centre of Percy, its weekly market and its many local shops (Intermarché, petrol station, bakery, grocery store, butcher's, fishmonger, garage, etc.) and its local producers (honey, cider, organic market gardeners, etc.). For those who enjoy walks, the accommodation is at the start of the GRP "Sur la trace des fondeurs de cloches" and Mont Robin is 3 km away. Numerous tourist sites nearby: 10 minutes from Hambye, 15 minutes from Villedieu-les-Poêles, 20 minutes from St Lô and Gavray, 30 minutes from Coutances, 35 minutes from Vire-Normandie, 40 minutes from Carentan, Isigny-sur-Mer, Granville and its ferries to the Chausey Islands, 55 minutes from Bayeux, 1 hour from the D-Day landing beaches. A84 (free) 10 minutes from the accommodation (1 hour from Caen and Rennes, 45 minutes from Mont St Michel, 25 minutes from Avranches). During your stay It is possible to pick up travellers at Villedieu-les-Poêles station by arranging a mileage allowance of €20 per trip per car (3 seats per car). Other things to note Slippers are compulsory upstairs (bare parquet flooring)! Please do not feed the animals on the site. Please note: the accommodation has a steep staircase with high steps and is not suitable for children under 10, babies or people with reduced mobility.
