The Bothy Bus
Description
You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings and views across the Severn Estuary from our unique, rustic converted town bus. Set on private land near Chepstow, The Bothy Bus has an outdoor area with a fire pit and access to a shared, enclosed garden. Ideally located for exploring the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Bannau Brycheiniog, Cardiff and Bristol. The Bothy Bus is connected to The Crafty Pickle Co., where we produce local sauerkraut and kimchi and run regular fermentation workshops. The space The Bothy Bus sleeps up to 3 guests, with a double bed and sofa bed, a cosy living area, kitchen and wood-burning stove. The kitchen includes a gas range, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer and the basics needed to prepare meals. The lounge has a fold-away dining table which sits up to 3, smart projector, speaker system and wood-burning stove; making it a comfortable space for slow evenings after a day exploring the local area. There is a shower and toilet, with Miniml eco-friendly products provided. Outside, guests have access to a semi-private outdoor space with a boule court (boules supplied!), picnic bench and fire pit that can also be used for BBQs. The Bothy Bus sits on private land with access to a shared, enclosed garden for your furry friend. Due to space restrictions, we are happy to welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs. To note: we do have a very friendly dog and a cat living with us. We are perfectly located for a few days away exploring the gorgeous South East of Wales.
