The Rowans Cabin

A peaceful 2 bedroom log cabin, set within owners garden. Has interrupted views over countryside. Plenty of gorgeous walks literally within a few minutes away, quiet roads for walking, cycling. With Glenkinchie distillery a short 10 minutes drive away. 20 minutes drive from Edinburgh, or 10 minutes on the train from Longniddry station. Pencaitland is 1.5 miles away where you will find local shop, gastro pub, Winton Castle (with walks in grounds). Close to many East Lothian golf courses. The space A 2 bedroom log cabin (1 double and 1 single), kitchen, dining table, lounge. Perfect place to forget about work, worries etc, kick off your shoes, put your feet up and enjoy the peace and listen to the various different bird songs. Depending when you stay you might be lucky and see some hares in the neighbouring field. Hot water is provided by an immersion heater and there is electric heating. So if you are looking for somewhere to relax for a night or so, on business, visiting friends/family or attending a function then why not try the cabin out. Other things to note A fair usage policy is in place for guests who put the heating on. If you forget to switch off the immersion heating and a large electric charge is incurred, a refund will be sought from the guest(s). No stag or hen parties or loud music will be allowed. This is a place for retreat and no impact to hosts neighbours due to noise. No smoking or vaping allowed with the cabin.
