Description
The XXL room (Non-Smoking) of 40 m2 is located on the 1st floor. For your comfort, the old adjoining dovecote has been fitted with a dry toilet. For the rest, everything is on the ground floor: bathroom (walk-in shower; laundry room) and shared toilet; kitchen-living room, large garden. Bohemian atmosphere and wabi-sabi style guaranteed! Provide a car to visit the area. Vintage bikes available on site. The space Very old character house with beautiful volumes. Oak beams and plaster floor or old tiles. The house is being renovated. The kitchen is spacious but is nothing like an IKEA kitchen. You will be awakened by the song of the many birds in the garden. Calm and sweetness of life will be the major assets of your stay. PS: Spiders and flies sometimes invite themselves into the house… All the charm of the countryside! Note: presence of 2 hens and 3 very nice geese in the park. Guest access The kitchen is accessible during the day until 10 a.m. Then from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. And finally from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. However, these times can be adapted to your schedule. To be discussed with you upon arrival... There is no time constraint for the use of the shower room. The garden remains a privileged place to relax at any time of the day. Vegetables from the vegetable garden will be offered (stays in August and September) as well as fresh eggs, depending on the mood of our fowl 🐓🪿🐓. Walks in the surrounding hamlets or forests are recommended. Farms; free-range chickens; goat cheeses. The banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, just a few kilometers away, seem straight out of a Renoir film. You can also rent kayaks there. During your stay I am available to give you information about the activities in the region and its activities. Or even exchange cooking recipes... Other things to note We are restoring the house while respecting the tranquility of our guests (you will be the only ones except for one or two friends passing through). The work we do is essentially painting. It may also be that boxes or ladders, or even other objects such as small tables or mirrors, are temporarily in the common areas. Note: it is forbidden to move furniture or light candles in the room for obvious safety reasons, as well as to leave food so as not to attract mice. 🙏
