The space Welcome to the Alte Mühle in Gößl – a place where time passes a little more slowly. The approximately 250-year-old Gößler Mühle was converted with a lot of love for detail into a cozy, rustic vacation home and today offers exceptional accommodation far from everyday life. Idyllically located directly by a picturesque mountain stream, you will experience nature here in its most pristine form. The lively sound of the water accompanies you throughout the day and creates a unique atmosphere of calm and relaxation. Your getaway begins practically at your doorstep: Only about 20 meters away, a slightly ascending hiking trail leads directly into the impressive landscape of the Ausseerland. The heart of the house is the original wooden parlor, which invites you to linger with its rustic coziness. In the winter months, a traditional tiled stove provides cozy warmth and a real cottage atmosphere – almost like in grandma's time. Directly in front is the light-flooded, enclosed veranda, the so-called "Brickl" – a wonderful place for a relaxing breakfast or quiet evenings in any weather. With an area of around 70 m², the house can accommodate up to four people. Two lovingly designed bedrooms – equipped with a 160 cm double bed and a 140 cm day bed – ensure restful nights. The steep staircase to the upper floor is located where the mill wheel used to be, and it underscores the authentic character of this special house. Cozy retreats are created under the charming sloping ceilings, while large windows offer a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and the original village. Start the day on the bench in front of the house with a cup of coffee and let your gaze wander over the small garden, the old millstone and the surrounding mountain landscape. Or enjoy quiet hours on the small wooden terrace right by the stream – a very special place, especially in the evening hours. Despite its historic charm, you don't have to do without modern comforts: a TV, coffee maker and other amenities ensure a relaxing stay. The location is unique – just a short walk from Lake Grundlsee, nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Styrian Salzkammergut.
