Charming log house near the sea, Väddö/Grisslehamn

Our charming log house in Grisslehamn is nestled in lush greenery, a stone's throw from the sea. The main house has two bedrooms with double beds, kitchen and fireplace, and the guest house offers more beds, desk and fireplace. The large, secluded plot has fenced for pets, and the wood-fired sauna is perfect for cold days. Modern bathroom, with shower, underfloor heating and washing machine. Close to Grisslehamn's restaurants, fish shop and the spa hotel Havsbaden. A dream all year round in other words. The space The main house is a beautiful log house with two bedrooms, a spacious living room with kitchen, dining area, sofa and a cozy fireplace, piano, electric guitar, good stereo, books and games. There is a bathroom with heated floors, a shower and a washing machine. In the large bedroom, there is a smaller double bed (140 cm), and in the small bedroom, there is a 120-cm bed. In the guesthouse, there are a total of three sleeping places (a bunk bed and a separate bed). Perfect for the kids, or if you are two families or a couple of friends renting the cabin. There is also a lovely fireplace, and a desk with a chair for those who want to work remotely. A larger inflatable extra bed is available in the main house if needed. In front of the entrance to the main house is the wood-fired sauna, in a separate cabin. At the front of the house there is a covered porch with a sofa where you can drink morning coffee. And in the back there is a large terrace, partly covered, with a sofa, chairs and table. On the property, there is also a storage room, where you will find sun chairs, a badminton racket, a dartboard, and other items that may be useful during your stay. Guest access As a guest, you have access to all areas during your stay, and have access to the entire place. Other things to note This is our gem in Roslagen. The place is characterized by the archipelago, with the beautiful cliffs just a stone's throw away. There are rarely people there, so you can easily find your own spot to sunbathe, swim, or watch the sunset. If you prefer a sandy beach, follow the gravel road outside the house for fifteen minutes, and you will come to a large and popular sandy beach. Here you can relax and take a break from everyday life completely undisturbed, and choose whether you want to spend your time in front of the fire or in the beautiful surroundings. In the winter, you can heat the sauna or visit the ski trails in Häverödal, and in the summer, you can play kubb on the lawn or read a book on the patio. If you are here for a longer period, it is nice to take the Eckerö Line from Grisslehamn over to Åland. The ferry takes only 2 hours, and onboard you can both eat well and buy what you need. You can get off in Åland and eat ice cream and stroll a bit, before going back in time for dinner. With the idyllic fishing village of Grisslehamn just a few minutes away, where there is a nice little ICA store, your stay is comfortable and convenient. And with the many beds, you can bring your whole group of friends, or the big family, and create memories with those closest to you.
