Sæta Farm, Five smal cabins

Sæta is part of an old farm located in the mountainside in the small town of Vågå. The town are located in the valley Gudbrandsdalen, a beautiful valley in the Norwegian inland. Some of the houses at the farm is dated to around 1840. The Sæta farm is well preserved and reeks of Norwegian traditions. Sæta is located in the mountainside, with a beautiful view of the city and the valley. The space Throughout the ages Vågå has been a chosen destination for artist and English Lords. There are five small houses for rent. Al houses has modern electricity, heating, and fire alarm. Only one cabin has water inside the cabin, but there are water, showers, toilets and sauna in a separate house. There are a TV in one cabin. Sæta is a relaxing place to be whether you want to calm down a few days in beautiful surroundings, go hiking in the mountains or as a stopover between Norway's largest cities. Vågå is located between a number of national parks, where Jotunheimen and Rondane are the most famous. We hope to welcome you on our farm for genuine experience, in traditional Norwegian surroundings. My wife and I work in Oslo, but we spend as much time as possible in Vågå. If we are not there under your visit, we will give you good written description and practical information you need to have a grate stay. Please email me if you have any questions before booking. Bed-linen and towels have to be brought, or can be provided for 80NOK/sett. There is no Wi-Fi, but if you need internet, there is good 4G signals on the farm. Some information about the cabins: Strøset: Strøset is a more modern cabin, with water and electricity. The cabin has an open kitchen/livingroom and tv. The kitchen is equipped and has a small fridge and oven. There are two bedrooms in the house with bunk beds. Toilet and shower are placed in the first floor of this building. There is no inside stair. To enter the sanitary facilities, go outside and down a small stair. The showers and toilets are shared with the other guests and the host. Våningen: Våningen has a large livingroom, a small kitchen and one bedroom with 4 beds. The kitchen is equipped and has an oven. There is electricity and heating, but not water inside the cabin. There are a refrigerator and freezer in the room marked “Klæboden”. Kårstua: Kårstua is a cabin consisting of one room. There is the basic kitchenware and a small two plate hobs for cooking. There are two beds in Kårstua. There is electricity and heating, but not water inside the cabin. There are a refrigerator and freezer in the room marked “Klæboden”. Eldhuset: Eldhuset is a cabin consisting of one room. There is the basic kitchenware and a small two plate hobs for cooking. There is one double bed in Eldhuset. There is electricity and heating, but not water inside the cabin. There are a refrigerator and freezer in the room marked “Klæboden”. Buloftet: Buloftet is a cabin consisting of two rooms. There is the basic kitchenware and a small two-plate hobs for cooking. There are three beds in the cabin. One bed is a little short and is well suited for children. There is electricity and heating, but not water inside the cabin. There are a refrigerator and freezer in the room marked “Klæboden”.
