We are super hosts who have welcomed a diverse number of guests from around the country and the world for over 7 years. The guest bedroom and bathroom are separate from our living space so you will have privacy during your stay with us. We provide a self-serve continental breakfast each day of your staywith home made bread, coffee/tea, cereal and milk choices, and fruit. There is NO cleaning fee. Your own bedroom and bath are private and quiet at the opposite end of the house from our space. You won't hear us and we won't hear you. You will sleep on a comfortable Sealy Abbeywood Plush Euro Pillowtop queen-sized mattress with comfy sheets, a cozy comforter and lots and lots of pillows. A ceiling fan will keep you cool in addition to our central air conditioning. Enjoy the desk space and a power strip on each side of the bed to charge your devices. There is a retro mini fridge in your room for your cold drinks, road food, and leftovers. Room includes a hotel style luggage rack and a full-length mirror. On top of the min fridge are an assortment of brochures, maps, and wine magazines for places of interest in our area for you to explore. In 2021 we upgraded to a local fiber optic ISP and have very fast wifi. The bathroom has a tub/shower so do enjoy some bath salts and a relaxing bath after your travels. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are there for your use along with towels and extra towels and robes in the bedroom for your use during your stay. At the end of your hallway is a bookcase full of travel books, novels, and other books. We are conveniently located halfway between the Portland area and the San Francisco Bay Area off of Interstate 5 for those who are looking to break up a longer trip. Medford can also be your primary destination since the Rogue Valley offers many opportunities for outdoor adventure, dining, wine tasting, theater, music and other entertainment. We can offer some dining and entertainment suggestions. The front and back deck/patio are available for your use, weather permitting Please observe quiet time after 9:00 pm outside to respect out neighbors. We provide a continental breakfast on the kitchen counter with banana bread, a variety of cereals, orange juice and coffee from a Keurig coffee maker with a variety of coffee and teas. We have an electric car charger in our garage that we'd be happy to share with any EV car owners. We are open to interacting with you or letting you enjoy the peace and quiet here. We are available to answer any questions about the area regarding restaurants, coffee houses, entertainment and outdoor activities. It's quiet and within walking distance to many fine restaurants and cafes. We are driving distance to world class theatre (Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Oregon Cabaret Theater in Ashland; Camelot Theatre in Talent; and Craterian Theater in Medford ), wine tasting, river rafting, Nordic and Alpine skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, bicycling, golf and more. Check out the Britt Festival (both popular and classical music festivals), restaurants and interesting shops in nearby historic Jacksonville. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available at the Rogue International Airport if you're flying in and/or need transportation while in the area. Public buses are available but the schedule is somewhat limited. Uber eats is available . We live in a quiet, residential neighborhood with neighbors within the sound of your voices. Please honor the 9:00 pm quiet time in the outside areas. No smoking in the house or on the front patio or back deck or yard. As of April 2019, we are solar powered. Wine tasting is available at the many fine wineries in the area including the Applegate Valley. Since we are both musicians we can offer suggestions about live music in the area.
