Where the cafe stops, the tranquility begins. The former inn and café De Harmonie is a characteristic building on the Trekvaart in Parrega. Above the café, the cozy B&B has been created for two, with room for up to four guests. Enjoy the charm of the past, combined with the comfort of today. During your stay, you will have exclusive access to the café downstairs. An extensive breakfast package is available for €12.50 per person. SUPs are also available for rent for €20 per stay. The space You enter the B&B via the café, which is furnished upstairs in the former party hall. The interior has been left intact and still exudes the atmosphere of times gone by. A room where people danced, held meetings, got married, and mourned. The facilities have been modernized according to today's standards. With double glazing, air conditioning, a luxurious freestanding hot tub and a separate shower, a comfortable stay is guaranteed in every season. The café is no longer open to the public and, of course, is not in use for others during your stay. You can use it yourself if you wish: for breakfast, a game, a game of pool or just to experience the special atmosphere. Opposite the B&B, there is a spacious parking lane, and there is an opportunity to dock on the quay. Scooters, bicycles and motorcycles can be parked in the 'Trochreed'. We can also safely store your fishing utensils or kitesurfing equipment here. Guest access If you want to stay with more people, we are happy to add beds, separated by room screens. The B&B is accessible via the cafe with a steep stair, unfortunately without facilities for less mobile people. The stay is smoke and pet free During your stay We are always available via the app. Other things to note On the quay, you can sit at the picnic table or cast a fishing line. The Trekvaart also offers a connection to open waters and various sailing routes. We rent out two SUP boards for €20 per stay. Parrega is located on the Elfstedentocht route, between Bolsward and Workum, and on the Workumertrekvaart. Although the village itself has no shops, you will find everything you need a short distance away: Workum is 5 km away, Bolsward is 6 km away, and Makkum is about 9 km away. Sneek is 15 km away.
