Stay in our newly built self-contained studio suite in Canberra's quiet southside. Part of our home but fully private, with its own entrance, off-street parking and no cleaning fees! It is attached to the main house, so it suits a housemate-style living arrangement rather than full acoustic separation. Inside: Large room, queen bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster), smart TV with streaming, unlimited Wi-Fi, underfloor heating and blockout curtains. The space Welcome to our newly built (December 2024) guest suite, a self-contained studio that's part of our home but fully private, with its own external entrance and no shared internal spaces. Inside, it's a calm, modern open-plan studio with a queen bedroom, kitchenette and dedicated workspace all in one light-filled room. Raked ceilings, burnished concrete floors are easy underfoot, and tilt-and-turn double-glazed windows with blockout curtains keep it quiet, well-insulated and dark for sleep. Underfloor heating throughout means it stays warm even on the coldest Canberra mornings. The kitchenette has a full-size fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, air fryer and a pod coffee machine, everything for breakfasts, light meals and coffee. The ensuite has a rainfall shower with hand-held option and premium toiletries. Off-street parking is right at the front, self-check-in is via lockbox, and we're only a quick message away (or a knock on the front door) if you need anything! Guest access You'll have full private access to the self-contained suite via your own external entrance, plus your dedicated off-street parking space and driveway access for coming and going. The suite has everything you need for a comfortable stay, a kitchenette, an ensuite, a workspace and a smart TV. We live on-site and are happy to help if anything comes up during your stay, but we won't disturb you. Message us anytime via Airbnb or simply knock on the front door if you need anything. Other things to note We share the property with two friendly dachshunds, Duke and Finn, who live in the main house but are sometimes in the shared outdoor areas. They're sweet and love to play tho, they'll probably bark at you the 1st time they meet you - they just protecting their castle. Just let us know in advance if you have allergies or concerns. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Please message before booking. On Saturday mornings from 10 am, you might see a small group (up to four of us) training in the garage gym at the end of the driveway. We're a friendly bunch, please don't feel you need to stay in the studio or avoid us. Wave hello, stop by for a chat, or even join in if you're a lifter yourself. We're usually wrapped up by 12:30. There's an external security camera covering the driveway and approach to the suite, for our peace of mind and yours. The suite suits two guests (couple or solo traveller). Quiet residential street, please keep noise down after 9pm.
