A wonderful family home for the holidays or just a weekend retreat! The home is close to the lake, parks, trails, village, restaurants/entertainment. 25 min. to Snow Valley. The space This beautiful mountain home overlooks Lake Arrowhead from above the aspens and pines. Entry Level - The level front entry provides level access from the street. Upon entry through the front door, you'll find yourself in the great room, where there is a wood burning fireplace, plenty of comfy couch space, and a large A-Frame window (through which you can see the lake and on the far side the village). In the middle of the great room stretches a long wooden table, perfect for large family meals. The guest closet has hanging space for clothes and a collection of board games for everyone's enjoyment. On top of the hearth is a collection of DVDs. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped and a perfect place to prepare the drinks and meals. There is also a bathroom and entry to the garage through the kitchen. Middle level (first level below the entry) - 4 bedrooms on this level. The master actually has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with two queens. These two rooms share a large walk-in closet (which actually separates the two) and a large master bathroom with a shower and spa tub. Note the second room described here (with the two queen beds) is located behind the master bedroom and you must walk through the master to access the room and the shared master bathroom. Off the master there is also a large deck. There are two more bedrooms on the middle level, one of which has a queen bed. The other bedroom on the middle level has a double and a single. On this middle level there's also a full bathroom and a washer and dryer. Bottom level - On the bottom level there's a pool table, jukebox, and a large common area TV. There is also a large bedroom on this level, with a king size bed and bathroom. In addition, there is a futon which can accommodate additional guests. A small refrigerator is also there for convenience. The Secret Room - One of the most special places in the house is the room above the garage (accessible through the garage) which we call the secret room. There is a king sized bed and a single bed up there, with a secret closet that kids are known to play in, and a window with an amazing view of the lake. The Garage - The garage is a great hang out place, with a ping pong table, air hockey and foosball. The back balcony - Here you'll find more great views, a barbecue, fire pit with seating, and a glass table which is great for family meals (weather permitting). Guest access Almost every part of the home is available to guests...with a few exceptions. Those areas which are to remain locked are: - Small pantry off the kitchen - Refrigerator and storage cabinets in the garage. (There's a refrigerator in the kitchen for guests). -Closet off the bedroom on the bottom floor. Other things to note This house is a very special place and is cherished and shared by two families with children who are frequently there. It is a pet free and smoke free environment, and we expect guests to respect this requirement. Security cameras are present on the exterior of the house as well as in the garage.
