Scandinavian Escape near the Sea | Ystad/Österlen

Welcome to our newly built private guest apartment, completed in 2025 and nestled in the peaceful coastal forest of Ystad Sandskog. Just a 700-metre walk from the Baltic Sea and only ten minutes by car from central Ystad, it’s the perfect base for exploring Ystad and Österlen. Scandinavian design, natural materials, a private entrance and tranquil surroundings create a relaxing stay close to both nature and the sea. The space The private guest apartment forms part of our newly built summer house, completed in 2025, and has its own entrance. The main apartment includes two bedrooms with double beds, one bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a bright living room with a dining area and sofa. Wi-Fi is included. The breakfast kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, Moccamaster coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster and egg cooker, as well as crockery, glasses and basic utensils. There is no stove, oven, cooktop or portable hotplate, so conventional cooking is not possible. It is designed for breakfast, cold meals, takeaway food and meals prepared in the microwave. As the apartment has no kitchen extractor fan, guests may not bring or use portable cooking appliances, including hotplates, camping stoves or air fryers. Please also avoid preparing food that creates excessive smoke or strong cooking odours, helping us maintain a pleasant environment for all guests. Outside, guests have access to a seating area with four chairs on the north side of the house. A charcoal grill is also available and is shared with the hosts. Guest access Guests have private access to all rooms included in their reservation, the outdoor seating area and deck on the north side of the house, and the designated guest parking area. Free parking is available directly outside the apartment. The parking space immediately in front of the barbecue area is reserved for the hosts unless otherwise agreed. For reservations of six or seven guests, Bedroom 3 and the additional bathroom are also included. Bedroom 3 has a separate private exterior entrance and is not connected internally to the main apartment. The additional bathroom has a shower and toilet and is located beside Bedroom 3 and the laundry room. Laundry facilities are available upon request. There are no shared indoor living areas between guests and hosts. The charcoal grill is shared with the hosts. Please refer to the floor plan for an overview of the areas included in your reservation. Other things to note The main apartment is most comfortable for up to four adults, but the property can accommodate up to seven guests. The rooms and bathrooms included depend on the number of guests entered in the reservation: 1–4 guests: Bedrooms 1 and 2, both with double beds, and Bathroom 1 are included. Bedroom 3 and the additional bathroom are not included. 5 guests: Bedrooms 1 and 2 are included, and the fifth guest sleeps on the sofa in the living room. Bedroom 3 and the additional bathroom are not included. 6 guests: Bedroom 3 is also included. It has two single beds, a separate private exterior entrance and access to the additional bathroom with a shower and toilet. 7 guests: Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are included, and the seventh guest sleeps on the sofa in the living room. Both bathrooms are included. Bedroom 3 is located beside the laundry room and is not connected internally to the main apartment. Its two single beds are 190 cm long, which is slightly shorter than a standard single bed. Taller guests may find the double beds in the main apartment more comfortable. Bedroom 3 and the additional bathroom are unlocked only for reservations of six or seven guests. If the number of guests changes, the reservation must be updated before arrival. A car is recommended for grocery shopping, restaurants and exploring Ystad and Österlen.
