A luxury cottage privately nestled in the grounds of Low Wood Hall, close to Wastwater and Scafell, with free off road parking and exclusive use of its own private hot tub, wood fired sauna, cinema room, games room and full kitchen facilities. The accomodation is for 2 adults. No Pets No parties No smoking Check in from 3pm, check out by 10am. The space Welcome to “The Hide” a charming cottage formally the Low Wood Hall estates coaching house & workshop nestled in the grounds of Low Wood Hall in Nether Wasdale, just a short walk from the serene Wastwater, England's deepest and most dramatic lake. For the adventure seekers, Scafell Pike, England's highest peak, is just a few miles away, offering a challenging yet rewarding hike with unforgettable panoramic views. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding fells and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere. The quaint hamlet of Nether Wasdale is a true gem, with its traditional pubs, charming tea rooms, and welcoming locals. Enjoy delicious homemade food, local ales, and friendly atmosphere at the nearby Strands & Screes Inn. Guest access Guest access is via the carpark in front of the property. Free off road parking for two cars is available. Please message inadvance of your stay to make beauty bookings, and give as much notice as possible. Note: If wanting to book a property for more than 1 bed (2 guests) we also have another rental called “The Bothy” that is listed on airbnb that is also a 1 bed property for (2 guests). This property could also be booked simultaniously as The Hide so that 4 guests can be accomodated, if booked by the same party. Guests are more than welcome to freely use the facilities of both properties when booked togeather.
