We are Karen and Michael and are from Altlay. Altlay is a village located between Hahn Airport and the Mosel. Michael grew up here in Altlay and I come from one of the larger neighboring towns. After our training, we moved back home. Today we live here with our three daughters. The fact that our apartment is called "honey barn" is not a coincidence. Where you spend your vacation today, we have hurled our honey for many years. The beekeeping is still there. Our beehives are close by. Our family-friendly accommodation offers the best conditions for a relaxing vacation for all ages. Located in a quiet area, the spacious terrace invites you to linger, while the large garden can be shared. While the adults relax and recharge on the terrace, the little guests can play right next door in the garden and discover nature. This way, all family members can enjoy a relaxing break – with plenty of space to feel good, relax and experience things together. We offer numerous shared facilities: a swing, a giant trampoline and a sandbox for the children. A garden hut with additional barbecue facilities and lots of playground equipment. On the ground floor is the kitchen-living room and the living room - always with a direct view of nature. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, stove and oven and a coffee machine. In addition, there is a separate guest toilet and a utility room on the ground floor. A washing machine as well as a dryer are available during your stay. A staircase leads to the upper floor, into the relaxation area of the house. Here is the bathroom with shower and three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with double beds. The third bedroom has a bunk bed – ideal for children. Distances and location Hahn airport is about 10 minutes away by car. The nearest shopping can be found either in Zell an der Mosel or close to Hahn airport. In Büchenbeuren you will find Edeka and Lidl and in the neighboring village of Sohren there is Netto or Norma. It takes a good 15 minutes by car to get to Büchenbeuren or Sohren. The drive to the shops in Zell such as Lidl, Aldi and Globus takes about 15 minutes. Restaurants can be found in Zell, in the surroundings of Hahn airport and in Altlay. In Altlay there is the Hotel zur Morschbach. However, please note the opening hours here.
