My place is close to Town, Die Ou Kar Restaurant, Local Shops and historical sites.. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The space Karoo Pandok is situated in the green Karoo, in the historical town of Bethulie. Bethulie is very centrally located within South Africa, on the southern Free State border, approximately 185km south of Bloemfontein, on route to Colesberg in the Western Cape and also from the Eastern Cape between the main national routes, the N1 and N6. It can be accessed on the R701 from south via the Gariep Dam (Hendrik Verwoerd Dam) (54Km), from the North via Smithfield (65Km) and Aliwal North (98Km) or from the west from Springfontein (35Km) off the N1 - The perfect halfway stop between JHB, Cape Town and PE! Our guest house offers many beautiful rooms, please choose the ones to best suit your requirements... WE ARE ALSO THE PROUD OWNERS OF THE OU KAR RESTAURANT AND PUB IN TOWN All meals, including breakfast (on request) can be enjoyed at the Ou Kar Restaurant which is less than 2 km from the guest house. Guest access A sparkling pool to cool down after your long drive and relax in a luscious garden to enjoy the favours of the sunset During your stay We are available and on site for any questions to make your stay comfortable. Other things to note We are also the proud owners of Die Ou Kar Restaurant which is approximately 1.5km from the guesthouse where you can enjoy lunch and/or dinner. Please note that the restaurant closes at 14h00 on a Sunday afternoon. No other restaurants available in town. We do have braai facilities on the property and can supply you with braaipacks, braaibroodjies and salad. Wood and firelighters also available at the property.
