Description

In the green lung of the Amalfi Coast: modern, bright apartment minutes from Tramonti. Ideal for 6 guests: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen-living open space with sleeper sofa, 2 balconies with stunning mountain views and a third private balcony in the bedroom. Wi-Fi, new air conditioning in every room, Smart TV, washer, and every comfort. Free parking in the shared courtyard. 15 min from Maiori and the sea, from Ravello, and 25 min from Amalfi. The space Welcome to our apartment in Tramonti, known as the green lung of the Amalfi Coast and the historic home of the Amalfitan pizza makers. The home sits in the most inner, mountainous part of Tramonti, in a small residential complex shaped like townhouses, immersed in a rural, silent and deeply authentic setting. Here the Divine Coast reveals its greenest, least touristy side: lemon terraces, vineyards of the Tramonti DOC subzone, woods of the Lattari mountains, and open sky all around. The apartment hosts up to 6 guests thanks to two double bedrooms and a comfortable sleeper sofa in the living area. ARRIVAL AND ENTRANCE Upon arrival you park for free in the shared outdoor courtyard — a rare asset on the Amalfi Coast, where parking is almost always paid or impossible to find. The complex is small, made up of a few residential units, and the atmosphere is that of a small, silent village. From the courtyard you go up a short ramp of a few steps to the entrance gate, then five or six more interior steps lead you to the apartment door. LIVING-KITCHEN (OPEN SPACE) Once you open the door, the first room reveals itself as a single open space, spacious and bright, that serves as living room and kitchen. The living area welcomes you with a large fabric sofa, convertible into an additional double bed, a wooden coffee table, and a wall-mounted Smart TV. Above the sofa, a panoramic print of the Amalfi Coast recalls the landscapes that await you outside the door. On the window side, the first balcony of the house opens up, overlooking the inner courtyard and the mountain: a table and chairs let you have breakfast outside amidst the greenery of the Lattari mountains. We disclose in full transparency that the fireplace in the living room is purely decorative and not usable by guests. The kitchen area, integrated into the same space, is entirely handcrafted and color-coordinated with the rest of the home. It is designed to truly experience Campanian cuisine: oven, gas hob, fridge, complete pot and pan set, cutlery, plates, glasses, wine glasses, and all utensils needed to try your hand at ndunderi, scialatielli, or a good Tramonti-style pizza. The dining table comfortably seats six. As a small welcome, upon arrival you will always find fresh water in the fridge (and possibly some other local treats, when available). Next to the kitchen opens the second balcony, more intimate, with the same panoramic view over the mountains. Here you find a beautiful wooden cabinet integrated with the home's style, used as a small storage room and for the boiler. The balcony is usable as service space (for example to dry a swimsuit), but it is not furnished for relaxing: for that we refer you to the first, larger balcony or to the rear balcony of the second bedroom. FIRST BEDROOM Facing the entrance of the living-kitchen, the door to the first double bedroom opens. It is slightly smaller than the second, but still spacious, comfortable, and perfect for two people. It features a double bed dressed with quality linens, dedicated towels, a window that ensures natural light, and furniture to carefully store clothing and personal items. The room has no balcony, but it makes up for it with an intimate and silent atmosphere that invites rest. Brand-new independent air conditioning completes the comfort. BATHROOM WITH BATHTUB Continuing down the hallway you find the first of the two bathrooms, the one with bathtub. It is a large, well-kept and particularly elegant bathroom, with ceramics in soft tones that dialogue with the home's style. Featuring a bathtub with glass screen that also allows shower use, WC, bidet, and sink, it is the perfect place to relax after a day on the Sentiero dei Limoni or an excursion to one of the splendid towns of the Costa d'Amalfi. We provide shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and everything needed for perfect cleansing. Hot water is always available. SECOND BATHROOM WITH SHOWER AND LAUNDRY A few steps from the kitchen, the second bathroom features a shower stall, WC, and washbasin, and integrates a convenient washing machine. It is a valuable amenity for those staying multiple nights who need to wash swimwear after a day at the beach in Maiori or trekking clothing. In this bathroom too, hot water is always available, and you will find essential bath products. SECOND BEDROOM WITH REAR BALCONY At the end of the hallway opens the second double bedroom, more spacious than the first and equipped with its distinctive element: a "private" rear balcony, overlooking the inner side of the courtyard, structured like an external corridor that runs along the opposite side of the building. It is a particularly quiet and private space, ideal for those who prefer being outside without overlooking the shared courtyard. In the afternoon the sun hits this side and illuminates the entire room with warm light. Unfortunately, there is no view from here, as there is a wall in front of the room, but the area is very relaxing, evocative and — despite the "barrier" — very open. The room features a large wardrobe, nightstands, a desk, quality linens, and independent air conditioning. You also find extra pillows, sheets, and blankets, usable when needed for the other room as well. AMENITIES, COMFORT, AND SERVICES For each guest we provide a complete kit of clean bath and bed linens. A Smart TV is in the living room; the air conditioning systems, new in each room, ensure proper comfort both at the height of summer and on the cooler days typical of Tramonti's altitude. The property indeed benefits from a cooler microclimate than the coast, a real advantage in the hot months. Other amenities include: washing machine, iron on request, hair dryer, essential bath products, and Wi-Fi available for guests. Finally, every room of the house is equipped with a wall-mounted radiator: perfect for cold winter days or for those who, during the shoulder seasons, prefer a different heating than the air conditioner. AREAS NOT ACCESSIBLE TO GUESTS For transparency, we disclose that the home contains two doors leading to a small storage area used exclusively by the owners and the cleaning lady: spare linens, products, and maintenance materials are kept there. The space is designed not to interfere in any way with your stay: the entire guest area — living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and balconies — remains for your exclusive use throughout the entire stay, and no one other than guests will enter the apartment during the stay. A closing note: this is the Amalfi Coast that still breathes the authenticity of times past. Tramonti is the natural choice for those wanting to live the Divine Coast far from the beach crowds of Positano and Amalfi, but a breath away from their iconic places. An ideal base for slow tourism, food and wine, trekking, and family vacations, with the added value of free parking and a strategic position to explore all of Campania. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment: independent entrance, living-kitchen, both double bedrooms, both bathrooms (tub and shower with washer), and the three balconies (the two off the living-kitchen and the rear one off the second bedroom). The outdoor shared courtyard is also usable for parking. The only non-accessible area is a small technical storage room for the owners' internal use, already described: during your stay our access will never be necessary. Operational check-in instructions (access method, exact location of the apartment within the complex, possible key handover, recommendations on internal parking) are sent via Airbnb chat on the day of arrival, only after the booking is confirmed. We then remain reachable in chat for any questions throughout the entire stay. Parking is one of the strong points of this property: in the shared courtyard you can park one car for free (and sometimes more than one, depending on available space), being careful not to block the access of other condo residents' vehicles. If the courtyard is full, you can also park for free on the street, where space is available. It is a particularly rare asset on the Amalfi Coast, where in Amalfi and Positano parking is almost always paid and in ZTL (limited traffic) zones. A few meters from the apartment is a SITASUD bus stop useful for local connections: depending on the line and timetable, you can reach Maiori, Amalfi, and the other Amalfi Coast municipalities, as well as Pagani and the inner Nocera area. Frequencies, especially in the evening, can be limited: for full freedom of movement we recommend the car, which in Tramonti truly is the best way to discover the 13 frazioni and nearby municipalities. An important note on accessibility: to reach the apartment from the courtyard you must climb a short ramp of a few steps to the entrance gate, then five or six more interior steps to the door. This is a minimal, manageable elevation by Amalfi Coast standards (where you often face hundreds of steps), but we disclose it in full transparency: the property is perfectly suitable for travelers, couples, and families with children and seniors. Other things to note This apartment is the ideal base for those seeking a different Amalfi Coast experience: an authentic stay in the green heart of the coast, far from the summer beach chaos but a breath away from the Divine Coast's iconic places. It works splendidly during hot summers as a cool elevation retreat when the coast burns; but it is even more magnetic at other times of year: in May for the lemon blossoms, in September and October for the harvest at the Tramonti DOC subzone wineries, in October-November for the Lattari chestnut season, in December for the living nativity scenes of the Costa d'Amalfi and the quiet of a Christmas amidst the mountains. The municipal tourist tax is not included in the Airbnb price. The exact amount, always in accordance with current municipal resolutions, will be communicated to you in advance via chat and can be settled at check-in in cash or with another agreed method. Should it be needed, we offer our guests a paid private shuttle service, regardless of the port, airport, or station of arrival/departure. We can help you build a custom stay, giving you all the information for numerous optional services: boat tours along the coast departing from the port of Maiori, Emerald Grotto tour, Capri day trips, Campanian cooking experiences focused on Tramonti's typical dishes (ndunderi, scialatielli, pizza with local flour), tastings at Tramonti's historic wineries (Tenuta San Francesco, Reale, Apicella, Monte di Grazia, Cantine Sammarco, Tagliafierro), tasting of Concerto di Tramonti — the famous liqueur of 17 herbs and roots of the Lattari mountains — and of Tramonti's fior di latte, guided visits to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the Royal Palace of Caserta. We gladly recommend restaurants of every range, from Tramonti's rustic trattorias (Reale, Da Regina, Il Frescale, Mare e Monti) to Michelin-starred restaurants nearby: Sensi in Maiori (15 minutes away), Rossellinis in Ravello, Glicine at Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi, Il Refettorio at Monastero Santa Rosa in Conca dei Marini. For sweets, the detour to Minori for Sal de Riso and to Amalfi for the historic Pasticceria Pansa (founded 1830) is absolutely worth it. For the local events calendar — Festival della Pizza di Tramonti in late summer, Tramonti Tipica, chestnut festival, Festa di San Francesco in Polvica, Ravello Festival, Byzantine New Year in Amalfi — we are happy to give you precise indications based on the dates of your stay. The apartment is non-smoking and parties or noisy events are not allowed: we are in a small complex and wish to preserve the quiet of the setting and the rest of the neighbors.
