Nice room in a beautiful historic house, quiet area at Nesodden. Accommodate for 1 or 2 persons, Only 1 hour relaxing trip by boat and bus from the center of Oslo. The professional diving school NYD and ProDykk is located only 2,5 km from the house. 3 minute walk from bus stop to the house Complimentary bedlinen, towels, facetowels, tea/coffee/sugar. The space Welcome to Villa Fredbo! The old historic house Villa Fredbo, (which means "peaceful living") is located at the west side of Nesodden, a peninsula in the inner Oslo fjord. Summertime with sun from morning almost to midnight. With nice view to the fjord and pond, as well as a private koi pond, in front of the house. It can serve as a place to spend relaxing days, or as the base for outings to Oslo, Drøbak, Tusenfryd amusement park, or the Oscarsborg fortress. The house and the garden have been pictured in a variety of interior magazines and newspapers worldwide during the last 10 years. The surroundings are beautiful and relaxing. Go for a walk in the forest behind the house, or enjoy a swim in the pond in the forest with so clean water. Relaxing, beautiful garden with room for private escapes. In one part of the garden there is a trampoline and a playground slide for kids. During winter, usually with a lot of snow, you will find groomed trails for cross-country skiing crisscrossing the entire peninsula. There is also a small family slalom slope close by (Brattbakken - Nesodden Alpinanlegg). Or go visit Oslo's most popular toboggan run, Korketrekkeren. One non-stop ride takes 8-10 minutes. Riding in Korketrekkeren is free, but sled rental costs NOK 80-100 per day. Drøbak 16 km with car to Drøbak, a popular holiday destination with beaches and a charming city center. Small soccer field. Oslo 42 km and 50 min with car to the center of Oslo. Frequent bus and boat service to Oslo, and a few times a day to Drøbak. Go for a walk in the woods! Swim in the Oslo fjord! Or go kayak paddling, paddle boarding or fishing in the fjord. Ice skating on the pond. Cross country skiing or visit the slalom slope. Fitness center at Fagerstrand, 2,5 km. Bring your bicycle or rent one in Oslo Or just relax.. Guest access You have access to the following rooms in the main house: 1st floor: access to a shared kitchen, a toilet and a shower. A charming yard with a fish pond, a garden with organic herbs and vegetables and old fruit threes. 1 parking space. During your stay I will help you with all Your questions and request about Oslo or the neighborhood when you stay in Villa Fredbo. I live in a separate part of the main house and feel free to contact me at any time. If traveling I will be easy to access per phone. Other things to note You will share the kitchen, toilet and shower with some friendly renters. In the yard we have one cat and 10 chickens. The cat is a friendly out-door-living cat, she is never inside the house because I´m allergic to cats.
