Cozy cabin by the lake

The cabin is located in Gursken, and the area offers great hiking opportunities! The cottage is the perfect starting point for exploring Sunnmøre. The space The cabin is suitable for those traveling alone or for a family or small group. The cabin is also well suited for longer stays as it has most of the amenities. The cabin has two bedrooms, both with a 140 cm double bed, as well as a loft with two 90 cm mattresses. It can sleep up to 6 guests. If there are six of you, it will be a bit crowded around the table and in the sofa area. The cabin is well equipped and has a Smart TV in the living room as well as wireless internet with good coverage in all rooms. The large terrace has plenty of seating, a barbecue and a parasol. Parts of the terrace are also roofed. You can also hang up the hammock to take a nap or play a round of darts. The jetty right below the cabin can be used to try your luck at fishing or watch the life in the sea. In the cabin you will find several life jackets, a fishing rod, binoculars, and a hook that can be used during your stay. If you bring a kayak, there are great hiking opportunities here. (No access to boat) We want you to have as comfortable a start to your stay as possible. Therefore, the beds are made according to the number of guests upon arrival, and towels are included. You will also find soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and tea in the cabin. Guest access The cabin is located in an area with several cabins. You have access to the cabin as well as a parking space right outside the cabin. The dock is shared by all the cabins and can be used as mentioned above. To reach the store and other facilities, it is most convenient by car or bicycle as the walking distances are long. The nearest grocery store is a few minutes drive away. Other things to note From the cabin, there are many great opportunities for day trips. Here are some of our recommendations: • Ulsteinvik – shopping, restaurants and a pleasant city center (approx. 30 min) • Fosnavåg – shops and Sunnmørsbadet (approx. 30 min) • Runde – experience Fuglefjellet and great hiking trails (approx. 45 min) • Stryn, Loen and Olden – beautiful nature, mountains, fjords. In Loen there is a gondola with a restaurant in the mountains. (about 2 hours) Day trips involving a ferry: • Hakallegarden – open farm with animals, cafe and farm shop (approx. 50 min) • Ålesund – Art Nouveau, shopping and good restaurants (about 1:45 h) • Geiranger – one of Norway's most famous fjord destinations (approx. 3 hours) Otherwise, there are many great mountain hikes you can go on nearby.
