Hiljarheimen - Walking distance to Stryn city center.

Our house has a great view with walking distance to restaurants, shops, nightlife and family-friendly activities. The nature in the area is amazing. See pictures and get inspired by; Via Ferrata in Loen, Stryn summer ski center, bike tours or paddle tours in Kjendalen, trip over Flofjellet and many other local mountain trips and nature opportunities. We can also offer guidance upon request. The apartment is newly renovated and is well suited for couples, solo travelers and families with children. Welcome to us! :) Guest access You have the entire apartment on the 3rd floor to yourselves. You can use the terrace below with barbecue and outdoor furniture, as well as the rest of the garden with trampoline and pirate ship. The garden is shared with us who live on the 1st floor, or guests who have rented there. Other things to note What to do in this area! A quick Top10 list :) 1. Visit Lodalen with its dramatic landscape and history (Two avalanches were big parts of the mountain fell out and created big tsunami`s and almost erased the whole valley twice (1905 and 1936) 2. Visit mount Hoven either via the Loen skylift up and down, or the Via ferrata up (a both physical and mental challenge! ) 3. Either walk or go by bike over mount Flofjellet where you`ll most likely will be surrounded by calm and eating cows in their summer-stay) 4. Bike or drive through the valley Norangsdalen, where you can see parts of houses and bricks from an old community under water, caused by avalanches that once created a new lake. 5. Go summerskiing in Stryn sommerskisenter (If you want to, you can go summerskiing in bikini on nice days :) 6. Walk up to mount Skåla (1848 above see level) and get a breathtaking view after 3-4 hours hike) 7. Briksdalen - A lot more touristic compared to Lodalen, but still worth a visit if you want a nice hike along the river towards the Briksdal glacier 8. Visit the dramatic coastline in the far west - About 2,5 hours drive from Stryn you can see the ocean - Look up the lovely place Hoddevika where surfers are driving to, from Sweeden only for a weekend :) 9. Geiranger - The narrow and beatiful fjord with its "Seven sisters" seven waterfalls 10. Go for a swim in the deepest freshwater lake in Europe, Hornindalsvannet (514 m deep). If you`re into hiking in the mountains or biking we could be writing this list until were asleep :)
