The space The Lodge - Luxury Countryside Barn with Stunning Views The Lodge is a detached, single level building with its own private parking space. It has a South facing aspect and enjoys an abundance of natural light throughout the day. Thoughtfully designed to feel both luxurious and comfortable with large windows throughout that fill the rooms with natural light, while new furnishings, appliances and contemporary finishes create a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. Open Plan Living The centre of the Lodge is the spacious, open plan kitchen, dining and living area – a bright and inviting space where guests can cook, eat, work and relax. French doors open out to the private South facing patio with stunning countryside views. The living area features a comfortable sofa, coffee table, lamp and Smart TV with a wide range of 'Freely' Channels. The dining area has a table and chairs, which can be extended if more space is needed. Kitchen: A well equipped kitchen with new appliances, cookware and all that you need to prepare a wide range of meals. • Oven, Hob, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle • Saucepans, Frying Pan, Cutlery, plates, bowls, egg cups, serving dishes, mixing bowls, all utensils, wine and juice glasses. • Ample cupboard space • Fridge with freezer compartment • Washing machine, iron & ironing board. The Lodge is conveniently located just off the B4090 Saltway, a historic Roman road which runs from Droitwich towards Stratford Upon Avon. Edging National Trust countryside, there a numerous footpaths accessible right from the doorstep - the perfect base for exploring. Easy driving access to Droitwich or Bromsgrove – each just around 4 miles away. We have a Waitrose in Droitwich and many other good supermarkets nearby. ** The Lodge is a smoke free and pet free environment, designed to be allergy friendly. ** We are delighted to welcome guests staying for a short break/ weekend or longer. The Lodge is ideal if you’re moving house or having work done, or would suit a single professional for longer stays up to 28 days at a time, or if you’re just looking for a peaceful short break. The Lodge offers a convenient base for the Midlands area - including professionals working locally or visiting Birmingham, Worcester, Cheltenham, or Stratford Upon Avon. Nearby attractions include Hanbury Hall (National Trust), Stratford Upon Avon (20 mins drive), Cheltenham (25 mins drive), The Cotswolds - a lovely day out. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of The Lodge, including: - Own entrance - Free car parking for 1 car (2 cars possible by prior arrangement) - South facing private patio area in front of the French Doors - High Speed Wi-Fi Access to the accommodation is through our main house gates directly off the B4090, The Lodge is on the left hand side as you drive into the property, with parking space provided directly adjacent to The Lodge There is just 1 small step up into the property, plus one small step into the shower (6 inches approx). There is no EV Charging at The Lodge and the use of ‘Granny Chargers’ / 3 pin sockets is charging is strictly prohibited.
