Welcome to a bright and modern part of a semi-detached house in Frøland. The property is of a high standard and has a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, Wi-Fi and parking. Right below the house, there is a river where you can take a refreshing swim in the summer. If you want a day trip to the city, it is only a 45-minute drive to Bergen city center, and the bus stop is 2 minutes away from the house. Note: The staircase between the 1st and 2nd floors is steep and without a railing. Families and other responsible travel companions are of course warmly welcome. Cleaning is included in the price. 🥾 Hikes and nature experiences in and around Samnanger 🌄 Tohaugen * A great and family-friendly trip with stunning views of the Samnangerfjord. * Well-marked path and a popular hiking destination among the locals. * At the top, you will find a cozy barbecue hut, perfect for a break or a snack. ⛰️ Gullfjellet (987 meters above sea level) * Bergen's highest mountain. * Amazing panoramic views of Bergen, Samnanger and the fjord landscape. * The hike is moderate to demanding and normally takes 4–6 hours round trip, depending on where you start. 🏔️ Kikenosa * One of the most popular hikes to the top in the area. * Approx. 4 hours round trip. * Spectacular views of mountains and fjords. 🌲 Day trip cabin Prestakvilet * Family-friendly hike about an hour from the parking lot. * Cozy cabin with great views - perfect for a break with a snack. 🚠 Fløibanen and Byfjellene in Bergen * Take the Fløibanen cable car up to Fløyen and enjoy the magnificent view over Bergen. * From there you can continue across the beautiful city mountains to Rundemanen, one of Bergen's most popular mountain hikes. * The hike between Fløyen and Rundemanen offers great trails, stunning nature and a lovely view. Allow about 3–4 hours for the round trip. 🚗 Experiences nearby * Bjørkheim – about 5 minutes. Here you will find grocery stores, a cafe, a liquor store, and a wood-burning sauna by the fjord. * In Tysse, about 3 minutes away from the house, you will find a small convenience store that is open 6 am - midnight every day with self-service for most of the day, and Tyssekaien with a beautiful view of the fjord. * Eikedalen Skisenter – about 7 minutes. * Kvamskogen – great hiking and skiing areas all year round. * Steinsdalsfossen – about 25 minutes. * Norheimsund / Hardanger – approx. 30 minutes. Experience the beautiful Hardangerfjord, cozy cafes, restaurants and the popular Steinsdalsfossen waterfall. * Bergen city center – approximately 45 minutes. 💚 Tip: Bring good hiking shoes, water, and an extra sweater. Kvamskogen offers many nice cross-country skiing trails, and Eikedalen Ski Center is only about a 7-minute drive from the house. Totræna Vinterpark in Samnanger is about 8-10 minutes by car from the house and offers great winter activities for the whole family. Guest access It is a semi-detached house, and the house that is rented out is the one on the right as seen from the parking lot. Parking right by the house. Other things to note Own dumpsters right by the house, emptied every other Wednesday. Smart TV upstairs and downstairs. 3 bedrooms - The 1st bedroom has a 180 cm double bed, bedroom no. 2 has two 120 cm beds placed together wall to wall - total width 240 cm, and the 3rd bedroom has a 120 cm bed.
